Selected work · 2019 — present

A quiet archive of spaces.

Each project below is told in four short movements — the challenge we walked into, the experience we designed, the influences we leaned on, and the impact the room has had on the people who live or work in it.

Hybrid Office

01 · Commercial

Hybrid Office

inq. Digital · Rhodespark, Lusaka

Challenge

A national tech brand outgrowing its old footprint — needing a single space that could hold heads-down focus, hybrid teams, and client moments without feeling like three different offices.

Experience

We re-imagined the floorplate around one quiet question: what does a workday feel like here? The Flexi zone softens into a lounge; the conference room opens onto a co-working bar; the pool office comfortably laid out the building stays alive.

Influence

Material restraint, brand-led joinery, considered lighting and a planted, daylit core that pulls staff away from their screens and speaks to their office culture.

Impact

A workplace its people stay in by choice — and a brand expression clients meet the moment they walk in.

Delights

02 · Retail · Hospitality

Delights

East Park, Lusaka

Challenge

A confectionery café in a busy mall needing to feel calm, photographable, and unmistakably its own — without raising its build budget.

Experience

A disciplined black-and-white palette, soft pendant pools, and a single sculptural counter that anchors the room and choreographs the queue.

Influence

Considered lighting, tactile finishes, and quiet brand cues woven into the architecture rather than printed on the walls.

Impact

A daily destination that earns its photographs honestly — guests linger longer and the staff move through service with calm.

Modern Home

03 · Residential

Modern Home

6 Miles, Lusaka

Challenge

A young family commissioning their first forever home — wanting a house that feels grown-up without becoming precious.

Experience

Generous, daylit rooms, warm timber joinery, soft layered lighting, and quiet pockets — a reading bay, a window seat — woven into the everyday plan.

Influence

A material palette grounded in natural fibres, locally crafted joinery, and bespoke styling held to a single, restrained voice.

Impact

A home that holds the family's life now and grows quietly with them — and a brief delivered end-to-end from 3D render to final styling.

Executive Office

04 · Commercial

Executive Office

inq. Digital Zambia · Rhodespark

Challenge

An executive floor expected to host clients, board sessions, and quiet leadership work — without feeling like a corridor of closed doors.

Experience

Reception flows into a brand-led conference suite, a co-working lounge, and a private pool office — every threshold designed as a moment, not a transition.

Influence

Bespoke joinery, hospitality-grade lighting, and a calm material palette tuned exactly to the corporate brand.

Impact

A floor where the brand speaks softly and consistently — and where leadership work happens in a space that finally matches its ambition.

Mosaic Moroccan Spa

05 · Retail · Wellness

Mosaic Moroccan Spa

Olympia, Lusaka

Challenge

A wellness brand wanting to translate a North-African design vocabulary into a Lusaka high street without slipping into pastiche.

Experience

Stone arches, hand-laid mosaic tile, low warm lighting and slow circulation — a building designed to make a guest exhale the moment they step in.

Influence

Tactile craft, restrained colour, and a respect for the source material that shows up in the joints, not the decoration.

Impact

An interior that has become a destination — referenced by other operators and quietly photographed by every guest.

Muse Studio

06 · Retail · Boutique

Muse Studio

Longacres, Lusaka

Challenge

A boutique founder needing a space that worked as showroom, fitting suite, and quiet reception — on a footprint that didn't allow for any of them comfortably.

Experience

A single sculptural brand wall organises the room; tactile finishes warm the edges; a low lounge holds the reception moment without crowding the floor.

Influence

Brand-led joinery, considered lighting, and a soft, layered material palette.

Impact

A boutique that punches well above its square metres — and a founder whose space finally tells the story she's been telling.
